Orkney confirmed as area to receive rural apprenticeship funding

It has been confirmed today (03/03/2017) that Orkney is one of eleven rural areas to receive additional funding from the Scottish Government to help recruit more apprentices in remote areas.

Today marks the beginning of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2017  which focuses on the benefits apprenticeships bring to businesses, individuals and the Scottish economy. Throughout the week Orkney College UHI will be highlighting the work undertaken by apprentices who receive support from it whilst apprentices undergo their training.
